In a rare instance for the 2023 season, there were multiple cars chomping at the bit behind Max’s Red Bull. It was even a bit of a recovery drive for Max as he started 6th on the grid - a rarity for this utterly dominant year. The podium came down to tire strategy, with Mercedes and McLaren in hot pursuit, but unable to keep pace with the Red Bull. Future teammates Lewis and Charles were both disqualified after the race due to too much wear on their floors.
