Mexico 2026 Limited Run Print
Mexico 2026 Limited Run Print
To me, this felt like the race of three champions: Max, Lewis, and the newest inductee to the club, Kimi Antonelli. Mexico City always stands out in my mind for its vibrancy, energetic backdrop, and the unique stadium sector. Since this Grand Prix crowned a world champion, I wanted the painting to reflect the joy and excitement of the moment. I have abstracted the stadium as a series of sunny, golden dots, and the track as an amalgam of colors representing each driver. I always think of Max as a bold, Dutch orange, Lewis as a deep crimson for his Ferrari era, and Kimi as a bright and hopeful Mercedes teal. It was a historic podium and have painted a little homage to Max and Lewis hoisting Kimi on their shoulders as a pyramid of three stacked squares.
